Bart H. Chepenik, the firm's founder, began his career with Arthur Andersen LLP where he spent seven (7) years focused in that company's state and local tax practice concentrating on representation of and consultation to mid-size and large private and public companies in all facets of state and local taxation, including income/franchise tax planning, sales and use tax planning, state transfer tax planning, corporate restructuring planning and implementation, state tax audit representation, state tax process automation, and voluntary disclosures.

Now, Mr. Chepenik, the firm's founder in 2002, is managing partner of Bart H. Chepenik, P.A. and represents individuals, families and businesses in a general transactional law practice, with concentration in estate planning, business succession planning, wealth preservation, asset protection planning, probate administration, trust administration, guardianship administration, corporate law and real estate.

Mr. Chepenik is also an owner of MCM Title Services, LLC, a full service, attorney-owned and operated title and escrow company which offers a full complement of residential and commercial title, escrow and closing services for the South Florida area.

Mr. Chepenik, is a graduate of the University of Florida (B.A., English, 1990), Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center (J.D., 1994) and the University of Miami College of Law (LL.M., Taxation, 1995), has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1994, including that organization's Real Property, Probate and Trust Section and Tax Section, and the Planned Giving Council of South Florida.

Mr. Chepenik is a frequent speaker in the area of estate planning.
