Mitchell A. Hipsman earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1989. He is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates Law. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and maintains an active Florida CPA license. Mitchell's practice areas include estate planning, probate and trust administration, estate and gift taxation, and fiduciary income taxation.
Prior to joining Chepenik Trushin, Mitchell was of counsel to the firm of Packman, Neuwahl & Rosenberg in Miami and was previously in solo practice for 18 years. He has been engaged exclusively in the practice of law since 1989 and previously practiced accounting for 12 years.
Mitchell serves as a Co-Vice Chair and a co-speaker coordinator of the Attorney / Trust Officer Liaison Conference Committee of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, and serves as a member of the Section's Probate Law and Procedure Committee and Executive Council. He also serves as an editor-at-large of the Section's publication, ActionLine.
Outside of the practice of law, Mitchell is an avid golfer, cook, classical music enthusiast, fan of The U, and trivia buff.
