Monique M. Sadarangani, Esq., Associate at Chepenik Trushin LLP focuses her practice in estate planning, probate administration, trust administration, guardianship administration and corporate transactional work.
Ms. Sadarangani received a B.A. from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa in 2003, double majoring in Psychology and Religious Studies, which she attained in three years. She obtained a M.A. in Asian Religions from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa in 2005, after spending six months in India working on her Master’s Thesis on the interplay between Hindu religious practices and the culinary arts. While studying and traveling, Ms. Sadarangani worked as a student affairs professional, working at the university level in student conduct in order to assist with the recidivism rates of high risk students and those with disciplinary issues. Ms. Sadarangani left student affairs to attend law school and received a J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts in 2012, where she served as a member on the Journal of High Technology Law. Ms. Sadarangani received an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law in 2013.
Prior to working at Chepenik Trushin, Ms. Sadarangani worked in both small and large firm settings, working solely with clients on their estate planning, business succession planning, corporate law, probate administration, trust administration and guardianship needs. She is admitted to practice in both Florida and Massachusetts.
In addition to her legal work, Ms. Sadarangani stays involved in the community. She is a member of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section and Dade County Bar Association. Ms. Sadarangani has also worked to assist the Humane Society of Broward County and Miami-Dade Animal Shelters in her free time, and is committed to bettering the lives of animals in the community. She is a loving mother to her son and dog, Baxter. Ms. Sadarangani is also a certified yoga instructor, and enjoys teaching and practicing yoga when not practicing law.
