Summer Associate Program

Chepenik Trushin LLP maintains a robust summer associate program that is designed to offer our candidates a real day-to-day look at the practice of law through a variety of hands-on experiences. Summer associates work with different practice groups within the firm to experience various areas of the law (including wills and trusts, probate administration, probate litigation, and civil litigation), ensuring that the summer associates have the opportunity to make informed decisions regarding a long-term career path. For those summer associates interested in a deeper litigation focus, we offer engaging opportunities in insurance defense, complex business litigation and probate and guardianship litigation.

We look for opportunities for summer associates to attend and appear in court to assist our attorneys with hearings and trials, and to participate in pro bono projects. We also actively look for opportunities for summer associates to shadow our lawyer team to observe oral arguments and attend client meetings, depositions, and mediations. In addition, summer associates create blog content on current legal topics related to the firm's practice areas. Our goal is to have each summer associate work in some fashion with all of the lawyers in our firm.
